ABEMA Announces Sequel to Original Drama 'Keishicho Mayaku Torishimari-ka MOGURA', Airing This Winter

The future of TV, 'ABEMA', has decided to produce a sequel to its original drama 'Keishicho Mayaku Torishimari-ka MOGURA'. It will begin airing this winter.

'Keishicho Mayaku Torishimari-ka MOGURA' was planned and produced by writer and screenwriter Osamu Suzuki, based on a shocking true story heard from rapper Han a.k.a. GAMI. Starring Hannya, the ABEMA original hip hop entertainment drama is based on the true story of a police officer with rap skills who went undercover in a rapper group to expose illegal drugs such as stimulants and narcotics. It aired starting January 2025 and became a hot topic for its talented cast and spectacular mic relays.

The work was nominated in the 'Best Original Drama Series (OTT)' category at the prestigious 30th Asian Television Awards and won a Silver Award at the 'WorldMediaFestival 2026', Europe's largest international audiovisual festival, held in May this year.

Following these reactions, the sequel will begin broadcasting this winter. The sequel will also feature Han a.k.a. GAMI as the original creator, and will unfold a story based on facts.
