Exclusive Streaming of "KABUKI ARTLIVE THE BUSHIDO -舞志道-" Starring Ichikawa Danjuro and KENTO MORI on ABEMA PPV!

The new future of television, "ABEMA (Abema)", has decided to exclusively stream "KABUKI ARTLIVE THE BUSHIDO -舞志道-", which was held on November 30 and December 1, 2025, starting from 18:00 on July 23, 2026 (Thursday) on "ABEMA PPV (Abema Pay-Per-View)". Additionally, tickets for this streaming will go on sale starting at 12:00 on July 14, 2026 (Tuesday).

"KABUKI ARTLIVE THE BUSHIDO -舞志道-" is a new stage work that combines Japanese traditional culture and modern art performance, starring Ichikawa Danjuro and world-renowned dance artist KENTO MORI.

This work takes up the thought of "Yao-yorozu no Kami" at the root of Japanese spiritual culture and "Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain" as symbolic themes, expressing wind as myth and imagination, forest as community and harmony, fire as the dynamism of festivals and prayers, and mountain as communication between the universe and the spirit. Under the unique concept of "communicating hearts through dance" rather than conflict, it depicts the spirituality of Japan on a grand scale.

The highlight is the unusual collaboration between Ichikawa Danjuro and KENTO MORI. The traditional "forms" and "actions" passed down in Kabuki and KENTO MORI's innovative body expressions, which have performed with top artists from around the world, fuse to create unprecedented stage art. Furthermore, various performing arts representing Japan, such as Kabuki, Japanese drums, Tsugaru shamisen, Kabuki music, and contemporary dance, gather in one place, creating a unique worldview that can be called "comprehensive Japanese entertainment."

This performance, which preserves tradition while fusing with modern art and technology, presents new possibilities for Japanese culture. Please enjoy the spectacular stage on ABEMA.

This streaming will start selling tickets on "ABEMA PPV" from 12:00 on July 14, 2026 (Tuesday), and you can purchase and view tickets for general admission at 4,000 yen (tax included) and special tickets at 6,600 yen (tax included) (Note 2).
