ABEMA, the future of television, has decided to live-stream all three exhibition matches of MURASH FC, led by Junichi Kato, at the Kings World Cup Clubs 2026, which will be held in Italy starting July 26, 2026.

The Kings World Cup is a new generation 7-a-side soccer tournament conceived by Gerard Pique, a soccer legend who has played for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team. The tournament features unique rules and fast-paced match developments, with two formats: Nations, where representative teams from each country and region compete, and Clubs, where top clubs from around the world gather.

In the Kings World Cup Clubs 2026, top clubs representing Kings Leagues from around the world will gather. Popular streamers, creators, and former professional soccer players will serve as presidents of their respective clubs, attracting attention from soccer fans worldwide.

From Japan, MURASH FC, with Junichi Kato, a game commentator and YouTuber, as president, will participate. With former Japanese national team player Yoichiro Kakiuchi as co-owner and Hiroyuki Ota as coach, MURASH FC will challenge the world's top clubs in exhibition matches. After intense battles against the world's top teams in the previous tournament, which captivated fans both domestically and internationally, expectations are high for MURASH FC's evolved team.

ABEMA will not only live-stream all three exhibition matches featuring MURASH FC for free but also provide free highlights of all tournament matches. You can enjoy the 'new generation soccer' that is currently trending worldwide anytime, anywhere from your smartphone, TV, or PC.

Prior to the broadcast, a comment from Junichi Kato, president of MURASH FC, has arrived. 'I want to show everyone that this is truly different from before,' he said, expressing his determination. (The full comment is posted below.)

· Junichi Kato (President of MURASH FC)

Q. With soccer fever rising worldwide and across Japan, what kind of performance do you want to show?

I'm really a novice when it comes to soccer and don't understand much, but when I hear interviews with very famous people representing that generation or talk to people watching the venue, I think the passion and feelings of the Japanese really come across.

I want to make this a tournament where I can appeal to the viewers that they can expect it and that the passion is high.

Q. The team members and system have changed since the previous tournament, but could you tell us the highlights of the current MURASH FC?

First of all, the biggest change is that the coach, coaching staff, and staff have all changed. The organizational chart has also become quite new.

The members were gathered with a focus on what the coach and coaching staff aim to do with 'Kings League soccer,' so the direction of the team is somewhat unified, and I think it will be very evident what they want to do.

Rather than saying 'Please focus on this player,' I would like you to focus on the team's approach, how they will proceed with the match, and in what form they are taking on the Kings League.

Q. Please give a message to the viewers and fans.

We have been on a seven-game losing streak since winning against Italy in the first match of the previous tournament.

Every time, we say, 'We will win this time,' 'We will win this time,' and return with two consecutive losses, three consecutive losses, and so on. This time, the team has been carefully selected over half a year, with the staff also carefully selected, and I think it has become a team with high precision.

I want to show you that 'this is truly different from before,' and first of all, I want to win, even if it's an exhibition match.

The players will play, but I think I will also take a penalty kick, and I am also practicing hard in that regard. I think I have a 'player aspect' as well, so I want to be an owner who can pull it off not only in words but also in the content of the play, not like before where an amateur kicks and scores luckily. I think the players will respond to that as well. Please cheer for us.
