ADF Art Gallery Project Vol.41 | 'Yosuke Yamanouchi' Exhibition by Artist Yosuke Yamanouchi to be Held

ADF (NPO Aoyama Design Forum) will host the 'Yosuke Yamanouchi' exhibition by artist Yosuke Yamanouchi as the 41st installment of the 'ADF Art Gallery Project' art exhibition. The event will be held from Friday, April 17 to Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the GARDE Gallery in Omotesando.

Born in Aichi Prefecture, Yamanouchi has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In this exhibition, the artist, who reaches the milestone age of 30 this year, will display a collection of works that record his ever-shifting physical and mental states in the form of 'paintings'.

Trees that grow lush and green in the summer turn colorful and bear fruit in the autumn, and drop their leaves in the winter. Then, in the spring, they all sprout at once again. As the seasons cycle, over many years, a sapling becomes an adult tree, eventually aging and decaying. Human beings, too, are entities that constantly change both physically and mentally under the influence of their environments and relationships as they accumulate years. There are times when one is in peak condition, and times when one experiences a harsh 'winter of life'.
