On June 3, 2026, mobile ad platform provider adjoe GmbH announced the successful integration of its Playtime solution into Shukka Buta, a 10-year-old mobile game by EAGLE Inc. Facing mature-phase stagnation and high user acquisition costs (CPI), EAGLE introduced reward-based play (Poikatsu) paired with Playtime, creating a next-generation ecosystem that links in-game milestones to rewards.

This drove a major V-shaped recovery. Monthly sales grew 10-fold, from 11M yen in June 2025 to 110M yen in January 2026. The game reached 7th in the GooglePlay Store free game rankings in January 2026. User LTV improved by 1.5x, and install counts surged 9.5x by showcasing reward features in video ads. Playtime user acquisition also achieved premium retention rates of 64.7% on Day 1, 33.7% on Day 7, and 14.1% on Day 30.

adjoe aims to utilize this case study to help other mature publishers revive their apps. The company will also strengthen cooperation with Poilink Inc., a new EAGLE subsidiary providing monetization solutions.
