Background

Anpi Call began supporting Apple Watch and Wear OS smartwatches in 2022. In recent years, the use of wearable devices has been gaining attention again for corporate BCP and disaster preparedness measures. However, the extent to which smartwatch compatibility actually solves problems is not yet widely recognized. Therefore, to more clearly communicate the value of smartwatch compatibility that Anpi Call has been working on since 2022, we have produced and released a new 30-second commercial. Why is Smartwatch Compatibility Necessary?

When a disaster occurs, many companies use safety confirmation systems to grasp the status of their employees. However, in reality, there are many situations where employees cannot immediately take out their smartphones, such as when logistics drivers are driving, factory workers are operating machinery, caregivers are attending to patients, construction workers are on site, or sales representatives are traveling. In this commercial, we have simply expressed the customer experience of "being able to respond even without a smartphone at hand," "receiving notifications in various situations," and "supporting initial disaster response" through two types of scenes: "Shopping Scene" and "Yoga Scene." Disasters do not choose a location. That is precisely why a system is needed for safety confirmation that does not rely solely on smartphones. We aim to support prompt decision-making by companies and organizations by delivering necessary information more reliably during disasters.

About the Safety Confirmation System "Anpi Call"

This safety confirmation system was developed in 2007 at a major international logistics company with over 140 group companies, in Shizuoka Prefecture, a region advanced in disaster prevention. It is a next-generation BCP platform aiming for UX design No. 1, which operated without issues during the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, and the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in January 2024. We pursue a user interface design that is easy to understand even for first-time users and a user experience that is easy to use, while thoroughly operating with information security and privacy protection systems. Reflecting customer feedback and through meticulous version upgrades, it is supported by numerous users, including listed companies, major corporations, and hospitals, with high satisfaction.
