Japan AED Foundation Begins Accepting Applications for '2026 AED Achievement Award'

The Japan AED Foundation has started accepting applications for the '2026 AED Achievement Award' as part of its efforts to promote AED usage and reduce sudden cardiac death. The award aims to recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to creating life-saving systems using AEDs or promoting their use, and to share these initiatives with society. The application period is from June 1 to August 31, 2026, and both self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted. The entries will be judged by a panel, and the 'Best Award,' 'Excellence Award,' and 'Special Award' will be selected. Results will be notified to winners by mid-November. Winners will be asked to participate in an awards ceremony and cooperate with activity reporting.
