Aeon Retail will sell "Fishmonger's Luxury Shrimp Nigiri Sushi," topped with sea urchin and salmon roe inside the shrimp, for two days on Saturday, May 9th, and Sunday, May 10th, at approximately 300 "Aeon" and "Aeon Style" stores*1.

This year, with the Mother's Day season approaching, an increase in demand for in-home dining is anticipated due to the cost-saving trend amidst rising prices. In response to this, Aeon Retail's seafood department will offer visually and tastefully luxurious sushi that will brighten up celebratory dining tables.

This time, as a new celebratory item for Mother's Day, we are launching the popular "Fishmonger's Luxury Shrimp Nigiri Sushi" using shrimp, which is popular among women. The shrimp used is Indonesian-farmed Vannamei shrimp, raised in pure seawater without any brackish water (a mixture of fresh and saltwater), characterized by its rich umami flavor. Topped with sea urchin and salmon roe on the cleaned and butterflied shrimp, it is a visually vibrant dish perfect for Mother's Day celebrations.
