Aeon Retail Co., Ltd. West Japan Company (Branch Manager: Masahiko Tokiwagi) announced that from Wednesday, June 3, to Tuesday, June 16, it will sell "Vegetable-Rich Bento," a product of industry-academia-government collaboration designed by students from Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, Kyoto Women's University, and Kyoto Koka Women's University, at 85 Aeon and Aeon Style stores in the Kinki region.

As part of its contribution to realizing Kyoto City's "Healthy Longevity Kyoto" initiative, Aeon Retail Co., Ltd. is collaborating with the aforementioned dietitian training schools, which support the "Yes, let's take vegetables!" campaign. To encourage an increase in citizens' daily vegetable intake, the company will offer three types of bento boxes containing plenty of vegetables, featuring balanced main staples, main dishes, and side dishes.

The bento boxes being sold this time were designed by students focusing on nutritional balance and aesthetics, and subsequently commercialized by Aeon Retail Co., Ltd.
