"Agekke Koto Gakuin," a support school for a wide-area correspondence high school operated by Agekke Sports Science Center Co., Ltd. of the Agekke Group (Location: Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, President & CEO: Tatsuya Ebe), opened on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and held the entrance ceremony for its memorable first cohort of students on Thursday, April 9.

This academy opened as an athlete-specialized educational institution operated by a sports science specialized organization, which is the first of its kind in Japan (*1), and started as a new learning place for students aspiring to balance sports and academics. It provides an environment where students can learn cutting-edge sports science, including scientifically-based training, conditioning, and data analysis. Through this, the school aims not only to improve the athletic ability of each student but also to create diverse options for their future career formation.
