The AI Utilization Education Association (AIUEO), led by Representative Director Yuta Sato, announced that the 2nd U18 AI Championship, supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), has seen participation grow to over 250 students across 24 schools and 13 prefectures. Participants are preparing using the 'AI-Bou' educational AI platform and attending briefing sessions, with numbers expected to rise before the June 22, 2026 deadline. The first championship was held in October 2025 at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
