[Learn and Enjoy! Meat Food Education Paper Craft]

The National Meat Business Cooperative Federation (Chairman: Yukiharu Murakami) has created a 'Learn and Enjoy! Meat Food Education Paper Craft' as part of the FY2025 Domestic Meat Understanding Promotion Food Education Practical Project.

Background and Purpose Among various opportunities to engage in 'food education,' utilizing paper crafts gently impresses the 'first step of food education.' Its use at events and seminars where many people gather creates opportunities for communication and triggers a deeper attachment and interest in 'domestic meat' and 'gratitude for food.' Through creating the paper craft, it serves as an educational tool to intuitively and enjoyably understand the flow from the birth of livestock and poultry to when they reach the dining table as meat. Also, by publishing information on 'types and characteristics of meat' on the cover, it connects to specific cooking and consumption behaviors.
