Accelerating AI Adoption in the Agentic Era: Launching 'Kickstarter Agentic Workshop' in Japan

AKKODiS Consulting, the Japanese subsidiary of AKKODiS, a global digital engineering consulting firm operating in 30 countries, has launched the 'Kickstarter Agentic Workshop' in Japan. This workshop focuses on systematic AI agent adoption and aims to guide enterprises from implementation to organizational deployment using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Designed by the Microsoft Power Customer Advisory Team (Product Development Team for Power Platform / Copilot Studio) and AKKODiS, the workshop leverages expertise gained as a Kickstarter Delivery Partner.

While generative AI adoption is growing, many companies face challenges such as identifying appropriate tasks for AI agents, moving past tool understanding to actual deployment, and managing large-scale organizational rollout, including security and governance. This three-day practical program addresses these field challenges by streamlining conceptualization, design using Copilot Studio, and establishing governance and operational frameworks. Its objective is to root AI adoption firmly into business processes, moving beyond the PoC stage.

[Example Program: Kickstarter Agentic Workshop] A recent workshop held in Tokyo saw 72 participants from various industries tackle three core themes:

Day 1: Measuring Agent Value and Designing AI Strategy Defining the purpose and impact of AI agent deployment, identifying key themes, measuring ROI, and positioning investment in Copilot Studio as a strategic organizational move.

Day 2: Understanding Copilot Studio and Designing Agents Based on the characteristics of various AI platforms, participants define optimal agents, learning design perspectives that include multi-agent setups and external system integration.

Day 3: Deploying Agents 'Safely' Within the Organization Clarifying responsibilities in governance and operations to support decision-making for production rollout, and creating strategies and frameworks through practical activities to transition to reliable agents.
