Aktiio, a leading construction machinery rental company, has developed the 'ADP-I' Automatic Chemical Injection System, which automates the chemical injection process for wastewater treatment at construction sites. Rental of the system will begin on June 9, 2026.

Currently, construction and tunneling projects generate massive amounts of turbid water, requiring legal compliance for water quality treatment before discharge into rivers or sewers. Traditionally, workers had to manually adjust chemical injection based on onsite pH and turbidity checks, placing a significant burden on staff.

The ADP-I system automatically injects the optimal amount of chemicals required for wastewater treatment. It automatically controls injection based on the condition of the raw water, significantly reducing the man-hours previously required for visual checks and manual turbidity management. This system, which can be retrofitted to existing wastewater treatment units, consists of automated chemical dosing and monitoring/alert functions. It includes a flow meter, a level sensor for chemical inventory, a pH meter, a turbidity meter, and a control panel with built-in PLC and inverter. Using real-time data from the pH and turbidity meters, the PLC controls the pump operations and flow rate. Data on pH, turbidity, flow rate, and chemical levels is centrally managed via the cloud, allowing for real-time remote monitoring via PC or smartphone. Additionally, the system automatically sends alert emails in case of processing abnormalities or low chemical levels, enabling remote adjustments.

The ADP-I aims to contribute to labor-saving and reduced workload at sites facing labor shortages. Aktiio remains committed to leveraging its 'Rentalsulting' expertise to provide services and products that improve working environments and boost productivity.

Key Features of the ADP-I: 1. Automatic real-time control of chemical dosage based on raw and treated water quality, drastically reducing chemical costs. 2. Simplification and labor-saving for wastewater management, optimizing control systems for night shifts and holidays. 3. Visualization of treatment status and chemical levels, enabling remote monitoring and operation via PC or tablet. 4. Retrofittable to existing plant equipment for easy automation. 5. Reduced environmental impact by preventing chemical over-dosing and operational failures.

Supported Wastewater Treatment Lineup: 10㎥/h, 20㎥/h, 30㎥/h, 40㎥/h, 90㎥/h, 100㎥/h, 120㎥/h, 150㎥/h, 200㎥/h
