Alive Co., Ltd., a provider of English-language preschools, children's English conversation, STEM education, and English after-school programs, will host the 'English Leadership Camp 2026' for elementary school students in the 3rd grade and above from August 3 (Mon) to August 5 (Wed), 2026, at Alive English School East School (Higashi-ku, Nagoya).
This program originated from implementing Harvard University's youth leadership education program, 'YLC (Youth Lead the Change),' in Japan. Over the past 15 years, Alive has refined and adapted this curriculum to better suit the characteristics and learning environments of Japanese children.
Through English discussions, team building, problem-solving workshops, and 'Failure Labs,' participants will develop the ability to think for themselves, make decisions, and cooperate with others. The program aims to foster non-cognitive skills such as resilience, grit, teamwork, and communication, alongside initiative. It focuses on practical learning for decision-making, resilience, courage to challenge, and collaboration, all essential in the AI era.
This camp is the first half of the 'Leadership and Entrepreneurship Training Camp 2026,' held over five days from August 3 to August 7, 2026, providing a foundation for the subsequent entrepreneurship training program.
