Amazon Launches Japan’s First Limited-Time 'Soccer Hub' on New Fire TV Stick HD and Select Devices' UI. 'Don’t Miss the Ultimate Stage This Soccer Summer'

Amazon has announced the launch of a limited-time 'Soccer Hub' on its new user interface (UI) for Fire TV in Japan, starting Friday, June 12, 2026. The hub, titled 'Don’t Miss the Ultimate Stage This Soccer Summer,' will be available on the latest Fire TV Stick HD—released on April 15—and on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, both launched in 2023. This dedicated tab offers easy access to live soccer broadcasts and a wide range of soccer-related content*. This marks the first time a time-limited, dedicated tab has been introduced on Fire TV in Japan.

The new UI, announced on April 15, features a redesigned home screen, improved content and app display, enhanced navigation, and the addition of an anime-focused tab. The updated interface is now available on the newly launched Fire TV Stick HD, as well as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus.

Users of existing devices—including the Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick 4K Select, and Fire TV-enabled smart TVs (Panasonic and JVC models)—can also access soccer content through the featured soccer visual displayed at the top of the home screen under the legacy UI.

Main features available via the 'Soccer Hub' or soccer feature section on Fire TV*:

• Soccer Viewing: Watch live soccer matches in real time. Supported apps include DAZN, NHK Plus, ABEMA, and Prime Video.

• Entertainment During Breaks & Iconic Soccer Films: Curated content offering behind-the-scenes access to players and teams, as well as classic soccer-themed films.

• Select the 'Soccer Hub' tab located at the top of the UI screen.

• Choose from categories such as 'Soccer Viewing – Apps Here,' 'Entertainment During Breaks,' or 'Iconic Films That Color the Pitch.'

• Select your preferred app or content and begin viewing*.

For Legacy UI:

• Select the main visual banner at the top of the home screen.

• Choose from categories such as 'Soccer Viewing – Apps Here,' 'Entertainment During Breaks,' or 'Iconic Films That Color the Pitch.'
