AndTech Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kawasaki, Kanagawa; President: Masao Suyama) will hold a "CO2 Electrolytic Reduction" seminar featuring leading experts as part of its R&D support Zoom lecture series, addressing the growing need for solutions in CO2 electrolysis technology.
CO2 electrolysis technology is gaining attention as a climate change countermeasure by capturing greenhouse gas CO2 and converting it into useful hydrocarbon compounds like CO.
PEM-type CO2 electrolysis is attracting significant interest because it operates at low temperatures, which relaxes the requirements for catalysts and cell components and offers the potential for high durability. The seminar will also introduce clean ammonia synthesis methods that emit no CO2 from production to combustion.
