〜 Defining a new category of OS-separated interactive whiteboards. Offering an OS-less version and a Windows version in the same hardware casing, putting an end to the 'monitor-ization of interactive whiteboards' problem through design 〜
ANSHI JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Ryoji Yoshihara) will begin sales of the next-generation interactive whiteboard 'ANSHI Touch AURA' on April 1, 2026. This product maximizes physical security through an 'OS-less' design that does not include a proprietary OS.
Even with a base unit that has no OS, pen functions, touch operations, and on-screen writing are equipped as standard. 'It can't be used as an interactive whiteboard because it has no OS' is common sense of the past. By deploying both an OS-less version and a Windows version in the same casing, companies can choose the optimal configuration for each installation location and purpose even within a single company——presenting a new selection standard for interactive whiteboards.
The adoption rate of interactive whiteboards in private companies is only 9% (MM Research Institute, FY2022). Conversely, 91% of companies have not yet adopted them——the market is about to gain real momentum. The barriers to this have been 'anxiety about security' and 'inability to master the usage'. ANSHI Touch AURA solves these problems from the root through its design.
Market Background and 3 Challenges Market share of OS-equipped models: Surged from 11% in 2019 → 32% in 2022. Security risks are expanding.
