Following DJ MURO, Full DJ Lineup Revealed. Talented DJs Coloring the Kansai HIPHOP Scene Gather at WHATAWON's 'TIMELESS'

On July 20, 2026 (Mon, Holiday), WHATAWON Floor Disco Ball will present a five-hour event connecting generations of DJs who love record culture, centered around HIPHOP, SOUL, and R&B.

In addition to special guest DJ MURO, DJ 2SHAN, JUN (EARTH BEAT), KIBI, PANCHI, DJ puttup, and a pop-up shop by COFFEE AND SLOWLANE will also be featured. This is a one-day-only special event where music and coffee intersect.

Kansai's Leading DJs Gather with DJ MURO

Special guest DJ MURO, announced in the first wave, received a great response.

We are now releasing the full lineup of performers who will grace 'TIMELESS'.

Guest DJ 2SHAN, who is supported for his VINYL ONLY playing style and exceptional scratching skills.

In addition, talented DJs JUN (EARTH BEAT), KIBI, PANCHI, and DJ puttup, each with different backgrounds but sharing a deep respect for record culture, will gather.

We will deliver a day where you can experience the groove born from records, transcending generations and genres.

Performer Introduction

DJ MURO (KING OF DIGGIN')

DJ MURO, Japan's world-renowned "King Of Diggin'."

His activities as a producer and DJ, known as the "world's best Digger," span from underground to major labels and worldwide.

He continues to release numerous official label MIXes and enjoys immense support both domestically and internationally.

He is also listed as a producer for "TOKYO RECORDS" and is an artist whose every move is closely watched across a wide range of fields.

DJ 2SHAN

@dj2shan

Second-generation owner of "RED HOUSE," a used record store in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture.

He pursues a dark, groovy play style with VINYL ONLY, SCRATCH, and two-deck techniques, immersing himself in DJing at events and producing MIXes.

He uses an MPC1000 to create beats centered on record sampling. He also provides music for rappers, producing all tracks for his local ally JEVA's 2nd ALBUM "Soshite, Ito Jun."

DJ PANCHI

"Scratcher" from South Osaka.

His strengths lie in his groovy selections that stick to analog, and his stable playing with occasional scratching and two-deck techniques.

He also works as DAICE's BACK DJ.

DJ JUN (EARTH BEAT)

Started his career as a selector (DJ) in 2004.

After various experiences, he founded EARTH BEAT SOUND in 2009.

He has performed with numerous international artists during their Japan tours and has hosted Carroll Thompson's Japan tour twice in his hometown of Osaka.

Operating under the motto "Shallow and wide, gradually deep," he works with a broad selection of music that transcends genres and categories, centered on his unique groove.

In 2019, he established EARTH BEAT RECORDS and released Carroll Thompson's "One Step Ahead" on 7-inch vinyl.

DJ puttup

@puttup_

Based in Osaka, he is active in a wide range of settings, from club DJing to selecting music at bars and lounges.

He maintains his unique style as a DJ who plays exclusively with records, crossing genres while centering on HipHop.

DJ KIBI

@djkibi.nippon

Began DJing in his hometown of Osaka in 2008.

Joined GOOD MUSIC TIME RECORD in 2015.

While his foundation is analog play, primarily focusing on HIPHOP, R&B, and REGGAE, he also skillfully manipulates sound sources with PC play, showcasing a flexible style.

He has performed at Tokyo's leading clubs such as ageHa, VISION, HARLEM, and asia.

He is also active as an organizer for the party collective [EMH].

Currently active mainly in Osaka and Tokyo.

Since 2022, he has been running the YouTube channel "GOOD MUSIC TIME RECORD," and in 2023, he opened a DJ school in Minami-Horie, Osaka.

COFFEE AND SLOWLANE

A small coffee stand in Kishiwada offering self-roasted coffee and sweet bean paste.

They deliver a cup that enriches everyday life a little more, through freshly roasted, aromatic coffee and homemade sweet bean paste.

A roaster who connects people and creates new experiences through coffee, roasted carefully in small batches and brewed with heart, one cup at a time.
