Kashima Antlers Launches "Special Oral Care Outreach Classes" for Hometown Children, Led by Oral Care Doctors Who Treat Antlers Players

Kashima Antlers is pleased to announce the launch of "Special Oral Care Outreach Classes" for children in its hometown, in cooperation with its official partner, SCO Group Inc.

The first class was held on Thursday, June 11, at Kashima City Hirai Elementary School. This project marks the first time Antlers has supported dental health education for elementary school students.

The club plans to hold similar special classes sequentially at other elementary schools within its hometown.

Background of the Club's First "Dental Health Education" Initiative

Recent research has revealed that the condition of oral health significantly impacts not only overall physical health but also athletic performance and concentration through "chewing ability."

To ensure that our top team players, who compete daily on the rigorous professional stage, can perform at their best, our club places great importance on daily oral care. From this unique perspective of a professional soccer club, we have planned these classes to clearly explain the correlation between "building a body that can win in various situations" and "oral health," aiming to convey the importance of lifelong health building to children and foster an awareness of "preventive care and early disease prevention."

Future Outlook

Through this initiative, Kashima Antlers aims to create opportunities for children to proactively think about their own health, and will continue to broadly promote community-wide health education activities in collaboration with government bodies, schools, local businesses, and professional teams.
