Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS) will host the 'Summer Program 2026' in Kanazawa this summer. The program is based on inquiry-based learning, utilizing the school's experience as an International Baccalaureate (IB) school offering a global standard curriculum. We are widely seeking participation from children in the Hokuriku region (Target: Kindergarten K4 to 3rd-grade elementary students).

3 Experiences to be Gained in this Program
① Get a head start this summer with global standard inquiry-based learning The International Baccalaureate (IB) is an educational framework covering kindergarten through high school, adopted in over 160 countries and regions worldwide. It is characterized by inquiry-based learning where students 'formulate questions, research, think, extract meaning, and express insights themselves.' In this program, students will naturally experience the cycle of inquiry-based learning that A-JIS has cultivated over many years as an IB school—'① Preparation for learning, ② Challenging new ideas, ③ Deepening, ④ Applying'—through play, crafts, and dialogue.
② 7 hours of English immersion every day All classes are conducted in English. A week spent with native teachers offers continuous experiences of 'thinking in English and playing in English' that cannot be found in traditional English conversation classes. It's okay even if it's the child's first time in an English environment. Native teachers will gently watch over each child's growth.
③ Experience being 'overseas' while staying in Kanazawa A special summer where peers studying at the Aoba campus in Tokyo and participants from overseas will gather. Connecting with the same generation from abroad without boarding an airplane expands a child's world. By the time they return, you might see a new sparkle in their eyes as they say, 'I want to speak English more' or 'I want to see my foreign friends.'
Daily Schedule Example (For a 1st Grade Student) - 8:00-8:15 Arrival at school: Children arrive with smiles.
