APA Group, a comprehensive urban developer operating Japan's largest hotel network of 1,153 hotels and 148,590 rooms, has acquired land for its seventh hotel in Hiroshima City.

The project is located along "Chuo-dori," a street lined with large commercial facilities, just a 6-minute walk from Hatchobori Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway Main Line. Being adjacent to the Nagarekawa area, the largest entertainment district in the Chugoku-Shikoku region, the project expects both business and leisure demand.

The hotel will be named "APA Hotel Hiroshima Hatchobori-eki Minami" with a planned capacity of 218 rooms, aiming for an opening in autumn 2028.

In Hiroshima City, APA currently operates APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae Ohashi (727 rooms), APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae Shinkansenguchi (294 rooms), and APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae Stadium-guchi (242 rooms). Additionally, construction is underway for APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae (251 rooms), APA Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae-dori (316 rooms), and APA Hotel & Resort Hiroshima Ekimae Tower (600 rooms). Combined with the existing hotels, this marks the acquisition of land for the 7th hotel development, bringing the total room count to 2,648, the largest in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Apa Group will continue to actively pursue a dominant strategy, focusing on hotel operation and personnel efficiency, to further expand its hotel network in areas where demand is anticipated.
