Aquponi Supports Launch of 'Fujisaki Aquaponics Town' Regional Revitalization Project in Fujisaki, Aomori

Aquponi Co., Ltd. (Yokohama, Kanagawa; CEO: Kengo Hamada), which engages in business co-creation using the circular farming method 'aquaponics,' has served as an advisor on the introduction and operation of the aquaponics farming method for a regional revitalization project in Fujisaki Town, Aomori Prefecture since 2023. The complex facility 'Fujisaki Aquaponics Town,' for which the company provided support from the planning stage, will have its grand opening on June 13, 2026. The facility, utilizing existing structures behind the former Hirosaki Jitsugyo High School Fujisaki campus, is built around aquaponics, which combines hydroponics and fish farming. In addition to agricultural production through agricultural-welfare collaboration using aquaponics, it will operate as a new hub for the region with functions such as education, tourism, and community collaboration. The new area in Fujisaki Town integrates the 'Aquponi Farm' featuring next-generation food production; the 'Aquponi Cafe,' where visitors can enjoy pizza made with farm-harvested vegetables and local specialties; and 'Uraniwa Park,' an open space with expansive lawns.
