A Special Fish Tank Motifed After the Nemophila Scenery at Hitachi Seaside Park is Now at Aqua World Oarai for a Limited Time from April 9th!

Aqua World Ibaraki Oarai Aquarium (Aqua World Oarai) is undertaking various initiatives under the tagline 'Now, to the New World of the Sea!' to show customers a new side of the aquarium. This time, as a collaboration project 'Blooming Aqua World Oarai' between the sea creatures and the 'nemophila' of the Hitachi Seaside Park, which will soon be in full bloom, we will exhibit a special fish tank from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Lovely blue fish, reminiscent of nemophila petals, swim as if dancing in the air The 'Miharashi no Oka' at the Hitachi Seaside Park fascinates many visitors during this season with its superb view dyed in blue. At our aquarium, we have started exhibiting a special fish tank motifed after the scenery of the nemophila, which will soon be in full bloom, starting Thursday, April 9, 2026.

This special tank is an exhibition inspired by 'Miharashi no Oka', where the sky, the sea, and the nemophila blend together to spread entirely in blue. It creates a landscape unique to the aquarium, where the vast Pacific Ocean spreading out in front of Aqua World Oarai, the blue sky continuing above it, and lovely blue fishes (Blue green damselfish, Sapphire devil) reminiscent of nemophila petals swim playfully as if dancing in the air.
