Ishii Sports Adventures Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, hereinafter Ishii Sports) and Amer Sports Japan Inc. Arc'teryx (hereinafter Arc'teryx) will jointly host a special project for "Mountain Day" in 2026, the "Mountain Day Special Talk 'Let's Talk About Mountains,'" to be held on August 1, 2026 (Saturday) at the Yodobashi Holdings Headquarters Building (Shinjuku, Tokyo).

This event is a special project featuring three guests who continue to challenge mountains at the forefront: mountain runner Shogo Mochizuki, professional mountaineer Hirotaka Takeuchi, and mountain film director Yuta Watanabe, under the theme "Mountains TRANSFORM US."

On the day, the short film "Rekindle" directed by Watanabe will be screened. This work tells the story of the trajectory of ultra-trail runner Shogo Mochizuki, who has conquered the peaks of Japanese mountain races, as he pursues his next challenge chosen out of pure curiosity. Following the screening, the three individuals, who deeply respect each other, will hold a premium talk session to discuss their past challenges to their limits and their future prospects.
