Arent Inc., a company dedicated to promoting DX in the construction industry, has developed the latest add-in series, 'ASPO (Auto Spool Fab Gen),' to support business transformation in the plant design and construction sector. As the first phase of this series, the beta versions of the pipe support fabrication drawing automation tool 'ASPO Support Fab' and the spool drawing generation tool 'ASPO Spool Manager' were released to select trial companies starting at the end of April 2026. Arent has previously supported the digitalization of the plant industry through platforms like 'PlantStream®.' With the launch of the 'ASPO' series, the company aims to streamline data integration from design to construction within Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D. In plant construction, manual input tasks remain prevalent during the construction preparation phase following detailed design, leading to information silos. ASPO aims to resolve this and support the creation of a Single Source of Truth (SSOT). ASPO Support Fab can reduce drawing time from 30 minutes to approximately 5 minutes, with an estimated cost reduction of 1.25 million yen for small to medium-sized projects. ASPO Spool Manager includes features for semi-automated spool splitting and welding management. The official Japanese version and English support are scheduled for release at the end of July 2026.
