Arte Genesis, a company operating approximately 370 beauty salon chains (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Yokohama; President: Shigeyoshi Yoshimura), will participate in the 'Beauty Management Symposium 2026' hosted by the Japan Beauty Management Association (hereinafter, Progress) on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba.

This symposium is an event that invites leading guests from various fields with the aim of multifaceted consideration and dissemination regarding the evolution of talent, management, technology, and culture that will carry the future of the beauty industry. This year, the theme is 'Proposals for the Future of the Beauty Industry: Innovation Starting from Essential Understanding.' Fumio Kawashima, representative of PEEK-A-BOO, who has led the beauty industry for many years, as well as management scholar Ken Kusunoki and Mayu Yamaguchi, specially appointed professor at Shinshu University, will take the stage to discuss the 'future direction of the beauty industry.'

*This event is open to those outside the beauty industry as well.

This symposium marks the 6th holding hosted by Progress. It has served as a place to present new perspectives and hints for challenges faced by modern business managers, not limited to the beauty industry, such as management, human resource development, and organizational creation.

In recent years, the value of salon management and hairstylists themselves has changed significantly against the backdrop of labor shortages, changes in work styles, the penetration of SNS/video culture, and the evolution of technology such as AI. This year, speakers active in their respective fields of beauty, management, law, and education will discuss the 'future direction of the beauty industry' from multifaceted perspectives.

Additionally, a discussion by young leaders who will carry the next generation will be held, with Shigeyoshi Yoshimura, President of Arte Genesis, serving as the facilitator. Through dialogue across generations and positions, we will disseminate new value creation and innovation for the future of the beauty industry.
