'Performance Powerhouses' Wonho, Kwon Eunbi, and VVUP to Head to Belluna Dome in May... 'ASEA 2026' Appearance Confirmed

The '3rd ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS 2026 (ASEA 2026)', a music festival where top-class artists representing Asia gather, will be held at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan, for two days on May 16th and 17th. The organizing committee announced on April 1st that Wonho, Kwon Eunbi, and VVUP have been confirmed to perform.

Wonho, who entered the music scene in 2015, released his 1st full album 'SYNDROME' last October, receiving great support from fans worldwide. He has also demonstrated his presence in the performance field, successfully conducting his second world tour 'STAY AWAKE' from last July to the first half of this year. Having toured four cities in Latin America, ten cities in Europe, and Saitama, Japan, he shared passionate moments with many audiences. As he boasts global popularity for his powerful live performances, attention is focused on what kind of stage he will showcase at the 'ASEA' on May 17th.

Kwon Eunbi debuted as the leader of the group IZ*ONE in 2018 through Mnet's 'PRODUCE 48'. After the group's activities ended, she made a successful start as a solo artist with her 1st mini-album 'OPEN' in 2021. The title track 'Underwater' from her 3rd mini-album 'Lethality' recorded a 'reverse run' hit on various music charts, solidifying her global popularity. Furthermore, she has captured attention with her explosive and stable live performances on the 'WATERBOMB' stage, earning nicknames such as 'Performance Queen', 'WATERBOMB Goddess', and 'Reverse Run Icon'. Kwon Eunbi will appear on the second day of the stage, May 17th.

VVUP (Kim, Paan, Suyeon, Jiyun), who debuted in 2024 with their debut single 'Doo Doom Chit', released a series of tracks starting with the single '4 Life' in January last year, followed by 'Giddy Boy' in June, 'House Party' in October, and their 1st mini-album 'VVON' in November. Notably, with the mini-album, they achieved the feat of reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Album R&B/Soul charts in the home countries of Indonesian member Kim and Thai member Paan. Furthermore, they also ranked high on iTunes K-POP charts in multiple countries and regions, including 3rd in Russia, 7th in Indonesia, 9th in France, 11th in the UK, 17th in Hong Kong, and 88th in Japan. Amidst their rising global momentum, VVUP will perform at 'ASEA' on May 16th.

Launched in 2024, 'ASEA' has established itself as a global awards ceremony that selects and honors artists who exert influence not only in Asia but also around the world every year, and showcases high-level performances. This year, a large number of top-class artists who have achieved meaningful results over the past year are scheduled to participate and unfold spectacular stages. ATEEZ, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, IDID, KWON EUNBI, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, VVUP, WONHO, and xikers (in alphabetical order) have confirmed their appearances. In addition to MONSTA X's Hyungwon and IVE's Rei serving as MCs for the first day, singer-actor Lee Jun-ho and Go Yoon-jung have also been announced to appear.

'ASEA 2026' is hosted by NEWSEN, a leading Korean entertainment and sports media outlet celebrating its 21st anniversary, the star & style magazine '@style' celebrating its 14th anniversary, THE STAR E&M, and Content Monster, and is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee.
