Okinawa-based dance and vocal unit JUICYJUICY releases new summer ballad 'MIDSUMMER'

JUICYJUICY, a dance and vocal unit born from Asobisystem's 2021 Okinawa-exclusive audition, released their 4th digital single 'MIDSUMMER' on Friday, June 12, 2026.

JUICYJUICY consists of four teenagers with an average age of 15: Sana Taira (15), Saara Higa (14), Reiri Inami (16), and Ami Uema (15). The group name comes from 'Juicy,' an Okinawan rice dish, reflecting their wish to become a group loved by all generations by blending diverse personalities.

This release is the second in a series of consecutive summer tracks, following April's 'Dive Into The World.' It is a summer ballad that depicts summer memories spent by the Okinawan shore and a恋心 (hidden love) through sweet melodies mixed with rap parts. YUKI JOLLY ROGER returns as lyricist and composer.

JUICYJUICY is scheduled to perform at 'OKINAWA COLLECTION 2026' on Saturday, June 20.
