[New Product] AFOLA Launches 'Previo B' Brass Stair Nosing Series

New Product Overview AFOLA, the hardware design brand of Assist Co., Ltd. (based in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka; CEO: Hiroko Ito), will release the 'Previo B7/B8' (brass) and 'Previo R7' (stainless steel) stair nosing series on June 1, 2026. These products are developed to meet the sophisticated requirements of interior designers.

Background Since its founding in 1969, Assist Co., Ltd. has delivered 'brilliance' to celebratory interior spaces through the development and sale of brass hardware. In response to recent market trends, AFOLA has developed this series with the collaboration of designer Hitoshi Sugawara and architect Yosuke Nishii.

About Stair Nosing Unlike anti-slip products, stair nosing eliminates the need for resin parts, allowing staircases to be finished with a simple, sharp 'single line.' Since the development of the 'Previo T' in 2020, AFOLA has built this series into its signature product. The new series is suitable for staircases and raised areas in hotels, wedding halls, theaters, and lounges where luxury flooring is commonly used.
