ASUS JAPAN Announces 3 New Chromebook Products, Totaling 20 Models

ASUS JAPAN Corporation has announced a total of 3 Chromebook products and 20 models equipped with the latest generation MediaTek Kompanio 540, which boasts power efficiency and long battery life.

The ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable (CM3206), featuring a 2-in-1 design with a 12.1-inch 2.5K touch display that allows seamless switching between laptop and tablet, is available in LTE and Wi-Fi compatible models. Also available are the portable and easy-to-view 14-inch ASUS Chromebook CM14 (CM1405), and the 15.6-inch ASUS Chromebook CM15 (CM1505) which comes in four colors.

These new, simple, fast, and secure ASUS Chromebooks, which can fully leverage various Google services including Gemini, will be released sequentially starting Friday, May 22, 2026.

In addition to the Wi-Fi model, the ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable(CM3206) also offers an LTE model, enabling constant internet connectivity on the go. It is equipped with the power-efficient MediaTek Kompanio 540 CPU for stable performance.

The smart 2-in-1 design allows for flexible switching between laptop and tablet depending on the situation. The 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600) 120Hz touch display uses Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 for clear and vivid visuals.

With up to 12.7 hours of battery life, it can be used on the go with peace of mind. The LTE-compatible model will be exclusively handled by au in Japan and will be available at the au Online Shop and select electronics stores on May 22, and at au shops nationwide on May 29.
