ASUS ROG Announces 5 New Strix Series Models, Including the ROG Strix SCAR 18 with ROG Nebula HDR™ Display and ELMB Technology

ASUS JAPAN Co., Ltd. announces 12 models across 5 new high-performance gaming laptops under ASUS's gaming brand, Republic of Gamers (ROG). The lineup includes the ROG Strix SCAR 18 G835LXG / G835LWG, featuring a 4K 240Hz mini LED display and Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology to minimize motion blur, powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus and up to the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU. Also introduced are the ROG Strix G18 G815LR and ROG Strix G16 G615LW, equipped with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 / 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs and the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus. Additionally, the ROG Strix G18 G814FP and ROG Strix G16 G614FR / G614FP / G614PW / G614PR / G614PM models feature NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 / 5070 Ti / 5070 / 5060 Laptop GPUs, paired with AMD Ryzen™ 9 9955HX3D, AMD Ryzen™ 9 9955HX, or AMD Ryzen™ 9 8940HX processors. Using the dedicated utility app 'Armoury Crate,' users can select pre-installed animations, input custom text, or import preferred GIF animations to display personalized content. Additionally, a full surround RGB light bar is integrated into the chassis base, enhancing immersion during gameplay.

To reduce user stress when expanding storage or memory capacity, a toolless design allows easy access to the SSD, RAM, and cooling fans without tools.
