Atelier Etoiles Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Atelier Etoiles) celebrated its first anniversary on March 28th.

Supported by everyone's encouragement and connections, we have advanced various initiatives spanning art, education, and cultural exchange over the past year. We express our sincere gratitude.

Atelier Etoiles views art not merely as an "object of appreciation," but as a crucial opportunity for children to engage in dialogue with others, think for themselves, and cultivate their sensibilities. In particular, we have been dedicated to expanding the possibilities of art education centered on mediation, while valuing a cultural perspective that connects France and Japan.

Since its establishment, our company has focused on planning and operating art workshops centered on children, collaborating with cultural institutions, educational organizations, and companies in Japan and France, and creating new learning environments through culture and art. We believe that creating experiences of "seeing," "feeling," "expressing," and "sharing with others" through art will become increasingly important in future society. Especially in an era where access to knowledge and information is dramatically expanding, we believe that what is required of humans is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but the "ability to feel," the "ability to ask questions," and the "ability to co-create meaning with others." Art is one of the most essential domains for nurturing such abilities, serving as a crucial foundation for children to engage with the world through their own sensibilities and language.

This past year was not merely a startup period, but also a crucial time for us to build a foundation for bridging culture and education. Through encounters, dialogues, and collaborations with many people, the direction Atelier Etoiles aims for has become clearer.

Moving forward, we will further strengthen our collaborations with cultural institutions, companies, and educational settings both domestically and internationally, and redouble our efforts in developing and implementing art education programs that foster children's creativity and autonomy. We will also actively work towards international mutual understanding through culture and the creation of open learning spaces for society.

As we enter our second year, Atelier Etoiles will continue to carefully build upon creative practices that believe in the power of art and connect children with society.
