"Audio Nova" Hearing Aid Specialty Store Opens in Hibarigaoka, Nishi-Tokyo City - A Consultation Hub for Hearing for Both Seniors and Working Generations (Opening June 25, Preview June 24)

An open house event, where you can view the store and facilities, will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the day before the opening.

According to our trade area data (based on the 2020 National Census), within a 3.0 km radius centered on Hibarigaoka Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, approximately 80,000 elderly individuals and approximately 90,000 working-age individuals (45-64 years old) reside.

The large-scale survey "JapanTrak 2025" on hearing loss and hearing aids reports that the proportion of people who are aware of "difficulty hearing" (hearing loss or probable hearing loss) is 16.0% for those aged 65-74 and 33.6% for those aged 75 and over. On the other hand, the survey also shows that 7.2% of those aged 45-54 and 8.3% of those aged 55-64 are affected, indicating a reality that differs from the image of "hearing aids being only for the elderly."

2) Working generation: Consultation also covers difficulties in meetings and phone calls.

We will organize options (inspection, adjustment, trial listening, etc.) according to the situation, starting from specific problems in situations like meetings and phone calls. We are also preparing a system where customers can experience and consult about hearing support devices (e.g., Roger) that assist with listening in meetings and other situations at the store.
