Cocoheli Search Transmitter Rental to Launch at Owens Izumidake Nature Hall in Miyagi

AUTHENTIC JAPAN Inc. announced that rental services for its "Cocoheli" mountain search transmitters will begin on May 17, 2026, at the Owens Izumidake Nature Experience Hall in Sendai, Miyagi. For a fee of 1,100 yen per day, visitors to Mt. Izumidake can carry a dedicated transmitter that emits radio waves, allowing rescue teams to pinpoint their location via helicopter or drone even in areas without mobile reception. This initiative aims to enhance safety for the local symbol, Mt. Izumidake, which attracts hikers and families throughout the seasons.
