April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day, designated by the United Nations. The NPO Tokyo Association for Autism (Chairman: Masaharu Sugiyama) will hold an event at Tokyo Tower.
Holding an After-Event for the Lighting Ceremony
We have planned an after-event for the Tokyo Tower illumination lighting ceremony, organized by the World Autism Awareness Day Japan Executive Committee.
The hosts will be autism actor Fuwa Fuwao and Miss Japan Runner-up Mayu Masaki. Miss Japan Kimono Moe Hirashima will also participate as a guest.
The three participants' blue costumes were provided by Heralbony, who is developing the "Beyond Blue Project" for World Autism Awareness Day.
Furthermore, actress Chizuru Azuma, representative of Get in touch, who has long supported World Autism Awareness Day and aims for a "mixed society," will also attend.
The highlight of the event is "The Song of Autism," lyrics written by the Association of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Participants will sing in chorus, "Everyone gather! Everyone sing! Jihei!" Those in the Tokyo area are encouraged to wear something blue and gather at Tokyo Tower.
Location: Tokyo Tower
Time: 6:00 PM ~ Lighting Ceremony (Organized by World Autism Awareness Day Japan Executive Committee)

Origami Project Connecting the World
From 3:00 PM, Petro & Joseph, an organization based in Numazu, will conduct the "Origami Project" workshop. Participants will express their world on origami and connect them for display, creating a large mosaic art piece. This initiative has been carried out not only at Tokyo Tower but also in France and the United States, aiming to connect origami from around the world.
Heart Creation by Koichi Nishimura
Additionally, heart artist Koichi Nishimura, who is also responsible for blue decorations in Shibuya Ward and Setagaya Ward, is scheduled to create hearts live (cancelled in case of rain).
Calling for "Dye Your TL Blue!" on SNS
Other planned activities include the distribution of explanatory manga for autism awareness and interviews with individuals with autism and their families who attend.
On social media, we are calling for people to "Dye Your Timeline Blue!" Please fill the world with your own shades of blue.
