[B-LOT Co., Ltd.] Notice of Acquisition of Land and Grid Connection Rights for a Grid-Scale Battery Storage Facility

B-LOT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Makoto Miyauchi; TSE Standard: 3452) has announced that its group company, B-Lot Capital Link Co., Ltd., has acquired additional land for a grid-scale battery storage facility and grid connection rights.

1. Project Background Based on the basic strategy of the long-term vision in the Medium-Term Management Plan, which states 'Contributing to the creation of a sustainable society through business,' the Group has acquired its fourth site for a grid-scale battery storage facility and grid connection rights in Chosei-gun, Chiba Prefecture.

Grid-scale storage batteries in the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) jurisdiction, where electricity demand is high, are regarded as important infrastructure equipment that levels out power fluctuations and stabilizes the power supply.

The Chiba area, in addition to having many solar power plants, is expected to see a concentration of data centers in the future. As power demand increases, we believe this project will contribute to the stabilization of the power supply.
