QuizKnock Returns to AWS Summit Japan: Takuji Izawa and Norinori Tsurusaki to Headline GenAI Hackathon and Quiz Show

QuizKnock, operated by baton, has announced it will appear at "AWS Summit Japan," an event hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) on June 25–26, 2026, at Makuhari Messe.

On the second day, June 26, members Takuji Izawa, Norinori Tsurusaki, and engineer falcon will take the stage for the Generative AI Hackathon finals and a spectator-participatory quiz session. They aim to provide opportunities for those interested in AWS to learn about it in a fun and engaging way.

"AWS Summit" is an event for anyone interested in innovation in the cloud. It brings together the cloud computing community to learn about AWS, share best practices, and exchange information.

AWS Summit Japan is the largest AWS learning event in the country, attracting over 40,000 participants. Over two days, attendees can explore the frontiers of cloud and AI innovation for free through more than 260 sessions and EXPO content.

This marks QuizKnock's third consecutive appearance, following 2024 and 2025. This year, in addition to Izawa and Tsurusaki, baton engineer falcon will join the stage to participate in the hackathon finals and the interactive quiz show.

QuizKnock Event Schedule:

AWS Summit Japan 2026 AI-DLC Hackathon Finals

Izawa and Tsurusaki will serve as MCs and falcon as a judge for the finals of this hackathon, which practices AI-DLC (AI-Driven Development Lifecycle). Teams of 2–4 members will compete to develop software for "a service that makes people lazy (in a good way)."

Finals: - June 26, 14:30 – 16:30 - AWS EXPO Developers on Live Stage

Award Ceremony: - June 26, 17:35 – 17:50 - Keynote Hall (Room C)

AWS | QuizKnock: Aim for AWS Quiz King!

This is a stage where attendees can challenge QuizKnock with questions about Generative AI and AWS. The three guests will face off against participants in a multiple-choice quiz format. No advance reservation is required.
