The app allows users to learn about living creatures, including plants, while visiting facilities such as zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens.

Developed through co-creation between Vildas, which aims to accelerate the creation of new value through technology, and CLASS EARTH, which operates the 'Earth Saver Project' empowering children to protect the Earth's environment and biodiversity, the app features system development by Vildas, including AI-based scanning.

What is 'Earth Saver Quest'?

'Earth Saver Quest' is an application that allows users to record and accumulate enjoyable experiences at zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens as their own personalized 'creature encyclopedia.'

The app was developed with the vision of transforming the pure excitement of encountering living creatures into meaningful knowledge, going beyond mere memory-making to inspire positive, personal engagement with nature and environmental issues.

Users can add participating facilities to the app by scanning QR codes placed at each location and register encountered creatures by taking photos.

By photographing a creature using the app's camera, AI identifies the species and automatically registers it into your personal 'creature encyclopedia.'

After registering a creature, users are presented with quizzes about it. Additionally, by completing facility-specific missions, users can level up their 'Earth Saver Rank,' making learning fun and game-like.

Events to Be Held at Facilities in Tottori Prefecture!

From July to November 2026, a creature-hunting event titled 'Earth Saver Project in Tottori' will be held at various facilities in Tottori Prefecture using the 'Earth Saver Quest' app. An opening ceremony will also be held on July 18 (Saturday) at the Tottori Prefectural Museum.

At the opening ceremony, Tottori Prefecture's Governor Hirai, along with special guests—world-renowned animation director Shoji Kawamori and Chief Earth Saver Kaede—will take the stage.

The event will explain the project's mission, which began at the Osaka-Kansai Expo last year, and introduce over 30 nature observation events planned across the prefecture.

Additionally, the event will showcase how to use the 'Earth Saver Quest' app to make nature observation even more enjoyable.

The following facilities will allow continued use of the app for one year after the event concludes.
