JOURNAL STANDARD, operated by Baycrews Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masayoshi Furumine), has announced a bespoke collection of Aloha shirts and printed T-shirts in collaboration with SALVAGE PUBLIC.

SALVAGE PUBLIC is a brand that prioritizes Hawaiian traditions while reconstructing real-life local styles into modern fashion. Started in 2013 by three Honolulu natives, the brand draws inspiration from the daily life they grew up with—surfing, music, food, and diverse cultures—proposing a unique style where the past and present naturally converge.

For this first-ever bespoke series, the Aloha shirts are based on 1960s vintage pieces fused with an urban mood. They have been updated with a cropped length and modern fitting. Furthermore, by selecting fabrics and factories locally to maintain 'MADE IN HAWAII' production, the pieces embody the brand's spirit and roots.

The printed T-shirts feature stylish phrases and mellow graphics that reflect 'Hawaii from a local's perspective,' rather than a tourist destination. This collection showcases JOURNAL STANDARD's unique ability to offer sophisticated styles backed by authentic Hawaiian culture.
