On July 2, 2026 (UK time), Bentley Motors will participate in this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed with its largest-ever presence. Over the four-day event, more than 35 Bentley vehicles will be showcased, with the latest model lineup featured in the hillclimb and at the Bentley stand. The two-story Bentley stand and hospitality space boasts a total area of 500 sqm. This year, invitation capacity has been expanded by 20% compared to the previous year, welcoming approximately 500 customers, media, and VIP guests to enjoy the festival from a special vantage point overlooking the iconic hillclimb course. As part of the hospitality program, 20 chauffeur-driven cars will be in operation to support guest transportation throughout the event.
Showcasing Design Themes by Mulliner and Ombre Paint
The Bentley stand will feature three of the latest models, allowing visitors to view them up close. Among the highlights are three types of Ombre (gradient) paint finishes achieved through new painting techniques. At Crewe's "Dream Factory," skilled craftspeople spend approximately 56 hours seamlessly blending two colors to achieve a precise finish. Central to this is the pinnacle of bespoke specification, Design Themes by Mulliner, exclusively created for the new Super Sports. The exhibit car features an Ombre color transition from Dragon Red to Black Crystal, representing the boldest and most special specification available for the Super Sports.
For the first time in Bentley's history, a side-to-side gradient has been employed, where the color changes from one side of the car to the other. A vibrant accent color is applied to the driver's side, seamlessly transitioning across the body to a deep, dark color on the opposite side, emphasizing the driver-centric design concept.
Furthermore, a single offset stripe runs from the front to the rear, positioned along the passenger side. Regardless of whether it's a right-hand or left-hand drive vehicle, this design theme is always configured around the driver, highlighting the exclusivity of the bespoke specification.
The Ombre by Mulliner paint collection was first unveiled at Monterey Car Week in 2025, with three color combinations announced: Sunburst Gold to Orange Flame, Topaz to Windsor Blue, and Tungsten to Onyx.
At this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Continental GTC S features an Ombre paint finish that transitions from Tungsten to Onyx from front to rear. Complementing this bespoke specification, the interior boasts a tri-tone coordination using three leather colors: White, Beluga, and Gravity Grey.
Additionally, Bentley has introduced a vertical gradient paint finish, an evolution of Ombre by Mulliner, for the first time. The exhibited Bentayga Speed features a vertical Ombre paint finish transitioning from Chestnut to Onyx, creating a vertical gradient across the entire vehicle. This results in a special hand-painted color gradient on all body panels. This unique paint finish is available as a Mulliner bespoke option. The exhibit car also features carbon exterior elements such as the body-colored roof rails, rear diffuser, side skirts, and spoiler.
Currently, Ombre by Mulliner is available in three paint finishes. Throughout the festival, specialist staff will be on hand to explain the advanced painting techniques and craftsmanship required to achieve the highest quality finish befitting a Bentley.
The new Super Sports will make its dynamic UK debut as the "Supersports: FULL SEND" special edition, driven by motorsports and extreme sports athlete Travis Pastrana in a gymkhana-style video released earlier this year. In the video, Pastrana showcased the overwhelming performance of the new Super Sports on the Bentley headquarters campus.
The "Supersports: FULL SEND" will be displayed in the Supercar Paddock alongside a bespoke Continental GTC Speed in Violet exterior color, paired with Linen and Tanzanite Purple leather and Stone veneer. Additionally, a driver-focused new Continental GT S in Spark Blue will join them, completing Bentley's supercar lineup.
The new Continental GT S generates 680 PS and 930 Nm from its high-performance hybrid powertrain, an increase of 130 PS over the previous GT S. The chassis is equipped as standard with the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, the same as used in the GT Speed and GT Mulliner, ensuring dynamic performance commensurate with the powertrain. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of approximately 307 km/h.
Meanwhile, in the First Glance Paddock, the new Bentayga EWB Aeroliner in Granite color and the new Flying Spur S in Dark Teal will tackle the hillclimb.
The Bentayga EWB Aeroliner features unique Mulliner design specifications, including the Mulliner Diamond Grill and a tri-tone interior.
The new Flying Spur S comes standard with the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, bringing enhanced driving performance and pleasure to Bentley's flagship four-door sedan.
Furthermore, the new Flying Spur revives the single headlamp design for the sedan model for the first time since 1962. The latest Flying Spur S produces 680 PS and 930 Nm, achieving its highest-ever performance, approximately 20% higher than the previous Flying Spur S, and comes standard with an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD).
The vehicles displayed in the Supercar Paddock and First Glance Paddock will be driven by engineers from Bentley's Vehicle Dynamics department. The driving will be led by a team headed by Craig Nicholson, head of the department.
To commemorate this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed theme, "Rivals," and the 100th anniversary of the Super Sports, the original 1926 Super Sports, "Smoky," will also appear in Batch 1 of the hillclimb. "Smoky" is chassis number 12 of the original 18 Super Sports models and is now fitted with a 41⁄2-liter engine, the same as used in the Bentley 41⁄2 Litre that won the 1928 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In the 1930s, Bentley's renowned driver Kit Baker-Carr raced "Smoky" over 40 times at Brooklands Circuit, setting numerous records against larger-displacement, higher-output machines, including the Napier Railton.
Currently, "Smoky" is on loan to Bentley Motors for the summer with the owner's kind permission and will be displayed in the Brooklands Paddock at the venue.
Additionally, after each hillclimb session, the Blower Car Zero will run the hillclimb course. This vehicle is a prototype developed prior to the production of the extremely rare Mulliner Blower Continuation Series of 12 cars, offering a special driving experience for a few Bentley guests.
