The Executive Committee has decided to hold the inaugural 'Construction Technology EXPO (CONTEX),' an exhibition gathering construction-related products and services such as BIM, AI, construction equipment, materials, security, remote technology, heatstroke prevention, and education/recruitment.
Background Three years have passed since the regulatory reform on overtime work began in April 2024. The construction industry is now moving past the 'trial and error' phase of testing new tools and into a practical phase of 'fully implementing proven technologies' in the field.
While the wave of labor shortages continues, the extreme summer heat caused by climate change continues to threaten safety on sites. However, we cannot stand still. We have a responsibility to connect the social infrastructure of the future and the future of our cities to the next generation.
This exhibition will create a space for the construction industry to evolve through three contexts: 'Technology (AI/Automation)', 'Materials (Sustainable/Equipment)', and 'People (Development/Recruitment)'. In particular, we will provide a venue that brings everything together to solve issues, transcending the traditional vertical divide between 'civil engineering' and 'architecture'. Through high-quality business matching, we will powerfully support the upliftment of the entire construction industry and the creation of new value.
