Bizibl Technologies Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomoo Ishikawa), which produces research content, conducted a survey on the conditions of materials used within prospective clients' companies. The survey targeted 317 business professionals at the manager level or above who have been involved in the consideration and selection of BtoB products within the past year and have experience participating in internal decision-making meetings. We are pleased to announce the results.

While BtoB marketing sees mass production of content and lead acquisition, a serious challenge is "whether the delivered materials are truly read and utilized within the company." As stakeholders involved in consideration expand across multiple departments and hierarchical levels, the burden on recipients to read, summarize, and re-share materials internally increases, and the reality of this situation has not been fully clarified.

Approximately 70% "Process Materials Before Internal Sharing" (68.4%)

Regarding the question "Do you often process received materials in some way before sharing them internally?", 20.8% answered "Strongly agree" and 47.6% answered "Somewhat agree," for a total of 68.4% who responded that they process them before sharing.

Over 40% "Cannot Finish Reading" BtoB Materials (40.7%)

Regarding the question "Do you feel you are able to read BtoB materials you receive to the end?", 32.5% answered "Not very much" and 8.2% answered "Not at all," for a total of 40.7% who responded that they cannot finish reading them. The reasons cited were "Content is too long" and "Information volume is too high," both at 59.7% and tied for first place.

Condition for "Used" Materials: Over Half Say "Conclusion or Key Points Clearly Stated at the Beginning" (54.6%)

Furthermore, regarding "conditions for materials that you feel are 'actually used' within the company," 54.6% stated "Conclusion or key points clearly stated at the beginning," and 30.9% stated "Numerical data and graphs can be quoted independently," indicating that over half (54.6%) prioritize the clear statement of conclusions and key points at the beginning.

Summary

This survey has revealed the reality of materials used within companies by business professionals at the manager level or above who have been involved in the consideration and selection of BtoB products within the past year and have experience participating in internal decision-making meetings.

Approximately 70%, or 68.4%, responded that they process received materials before sharing them internally. While "copying and pasting only numerical data and charts" (51.2%) and "taking screenshots of only necessary parts" (45.6%) are performed, 40.7% feel they cannot finish reading the materials. Furthermore, "content is too long" (59.7%) and "information volume is too high" (59.7%) were cited as the biggest challenges, tying for the top reason for not being able to finish reading.
