BLAZE Inc. (Nagoya, Aichi; CEO: Hideyuki Ichikawa) announces that its roof-equipped three-wheel electric motorcycle, 'EV Delivery,' has been adopted by the Sagami Branch of ALSOK.

The adoption was primarily aimed at contributing to a decarbonized society by shifting security transportation means to environmentally friendly electric motorcycles.

Background and Purpose of Adoption

The expected benefits are as follows:

- Contribution to a Decarbonized Society By switching from gasoline-powered motorcycles to electric ones, CO₂ emissions during operation are reduced. Through security operations, the company contributes to lowering environmental impact and aims to realize a sustainable society.

- Reduction of Running Costs Amid Rising Fuel Prices As the vehicles are electric, fuel costs are eliminated, making it possible to keep running costs at approximately 1/6 compared to gasoline vehicles.

- Elimination of Noise Issues Through Electrification Due to the high quietness of electric motor drive, noise is suppressed even during early morning or nighttime dispatches. This reduces the impact on local residents and enables security activities that are considerate of the community.

Under the watchful eyes of stakeholders, the roof-equipped three-wheel electric motorcycle was dispatched, marking the start of operations utilizing electric mobility.
