First Pop-Up Shop for TV Anime 'Candy Caries' to Be Held at Shibuya Modi from July 17 (Fri) to July 26 (Sun), 2026

Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will host the first pop-up shop for the TV anime 'Candy Caries' titled 'Candy Caries POP UP SHOP' at Shibuya Modi 1F from Friday, July 17, 2026, to Sunday, July 26, 2026, for a limited time.

The event will feature a wide range of new original goods reflecting the anime’s unique world, including stationery and apparel. Additionally, large-scale photo spots will be installed, including a recreation of Caries’ room and a 'plushie photo zone' set in the 'Mad Dentist’s Clinic' and 'Ame’s bathroom,' where visitors can take photos with plush toys.

About 'Candy Caries'

'Candy Caries' is a new stop-motion TV anime co-created by director Tomoki Misato, known for 'PUI PUI Molcar,' and TORUKU, WIT STUDIO’s stop-motion animation unit. The series has been selected for the official competition in the 'TV Films' category at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

The anime is currently airing every Wednesday at 23:56 within TBS’s 'Yoru no Brunch' program and is also available for free streaming on YouTube.

＜Synopsis＞

Ame is a child who loves sweets. Inside her mouth lives a cavity named 'Caries,' who calls Ame 'Mommy' and freely turns her teeth into furniture and takes over her body. Ame is constantly at the mercy of Caries’ whims.
