Tairaku Castella, a Taiwanese castella specialty shop operated by BOC Japan LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Tomohiko Komatsu), which franchises Taiwanese food stores, will open a pop-up store for a limited time at 'Sweets Box' in Odakyu Marche Shin-Yurigaoka, Odakyu Line Shin-Yurigaoka Station, from June 10 to June 16, 2026.
Tairaku Castella opened at Tokyu Plaza Ginza on March 12, 2021. The shop replicates the 'Xian Kao Dan Gao' (freshly baked cakes), which have been popular in Taiwan for a long time. Characterized by a fluffy texture and subtle sweetness, the shop has been featured in numerous media outlets.
For this opening, the store will sell all six flavors, including Premium Plain, Premium Burnt Butter Vanilla Sugar, Premium Cheese, Premium Uji Matcha, Premium Chocolate, and Premium Earl Grey, as well as half-and-half sets.
