Negative figures represent a net increase in banknotes in circulation. 2. Negative figures represent net receipt of treasury funds and others. 3. Negative figures represent net issuance of government securities. 4. "Redemption of JGBs" excludes the amount of JGBs that were acquired from financial institutions through the Bank's outright purchase operations by the end of the previous month and are redeemed at maturity during this month. Also, "redemption of T-Bills" excludes the amount of T-Bills that were acquired from financial institutions through the Bank's outright purchase/sale operations by the end of the previous month and are redeemed during this month. The amount of redemption of T-Bills before maturity and sales of T-Bills to the government is not taken into account. 5. Figures represent the sum of the amount of "JGBs(over one year)" issued and "Borrowings" conducted. 6. Figures represent the sum of the amount of "T-Bills" issued and "Short Term Borrowings" conducted. 7.
