Profile Takeru Amano Born in 1997, Takeru Amano studied printmaking and other arts in NY for four years from 1997 and is now based in Tokyo. His unique expression called "NEW ART," which fuses classical art and contemporary pop culture based on painting and sculpture, is highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally. In addition to his iconic "Venus" series, he also paints still lifes and landscapes, and has exhibited his works in various cities around the world, including Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and NY. He continues to evolve freely, creating works using acrylics, spray paint, and objects.
