The 'Oshikatsu Research Department' (Oshiken!), operated by Booklista (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shigeru Murata), conducted a survey on preferred genres among users engaged in fan activities ('oshikatsu').

Booklista operates the fan-focused application 'Oshibana'. 'Oshiken!' was established by the app to support and enhance the fan experience for its users.

This survey targeted 233 users aged 10-50. As teenagers typically make up over half of the respondents in these reports, the results strongly reflect the trends driving this younger demographic. In this survey, teenagers accounted for 67.4% of the total respondents.

[Cons of Multi-Fandom Support] - Resource shortages: Costs a lot of money, and there is never enough time or physical energy.
