Borderless Japan and Fukuoka City Launch Social Startup Acceleration Program

Borderless Japan Corporation, serving as the secretariat for Fukuoka City, announced the start of recruitment for the 'Fukuoka Social Startup Acceleration' program on June 11, 2026. This initiative aims to support startups that successfully reconcile solving social issues with economic growth.

As part of the 'Fukuoka Social Startup Package,' this program provides an eight-month, customized mentorship experience. Approximately five social startups will be selected for the program, which is offered free of charge. Mentors include notable figures such as Akihiko Nagata (UntroD Capital Japan), Hiromi Okuda (With Group), and Yoshihiko Haruyama (YAMAP).

The application period runs until July 7, 2026, with the program kickoff scheduled for August 3. The program includes workshops, public mentoring, and networking opportunities to strengthen business foundations.
